Nebraska’s MLS NEXT teams have competed at MLS NEXT Fest for the past two weeks, joining more than 30,000 players and 250 clubs in Mesa, Arizona, for the largest youth soccer scouting and talent identification event in the United States. The Nebraska boys went an impressive 10-6-1 at NEXT Fest. Congratulations to the U13 and U14 boys, who also made it to the tournament playoffs in their bracket!

In addition, Sting NE Pre-ECNL G15 Nelson and Sting NE G15 Nelson/G Campbell spent two hours ringing bells to collect money for the Salvation Army during the holiday season for their community service hours.
Sting NE G16 Lango were also the GEA Futsal Champions for Winter Session #1. On the boys’ side, Sting NE B18 Tot defeated Sting NE B17 Lango in the championship game of their bracket to finish first and second, respectively.
